Next Musica Session (Workshop)

Choir conductors, publishers, composers, librarians: there are still a few places left in the international Musica Session, November 9 to 14, 2015 in Strasbourg (France).
=> More details

At a Musica session, participants can improve Musica’s size and quality by adding their chosen works -- all in a welcoming and enriching setting! It's the ideal place to promote your country’s choral heritage.
=> More details

The dates have been chosen so participants can also attend the «Sacrées Journées de Strasbourg», the French counterpart to Marktoberdorf’s «Musica Sacra International». A room at the European Doctoral College costs the same from Nov. 7 as from Nov. 9, so why not book now and enjoy the wealth of international sacred music!

We are currently planning our 2016 Musica sessions! Possible locations include Antwerp (Belgium), Montreal and/or Edmonton (Canada), Brasov (Romania) and Kinshasa (Congo Democratic Republic)

Full privileged access for all ACDA Members

The ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) has just subscribed to full privileged access to MusicaNet.org for all its members! To benefit from this privileged access, just go to the member section of the ACDA site, and use the link to Musica provided there.

Other associations have opted for the full privileged access for their members as well: European Choral Association - Europa Cantat, Union Suisse des Chorales, A Coeur Joie France, A Coeur Joie Belgium, A Coeur Joie Switzerland, Union Saint-Pie X Luxemburg, Deutsches Centrum für Chormusik, Alliance des Chorales of Quebec, Chorverband Vorarlberg, Fédération des Chorales Franco-Allemandes, Federació Catalana d'Entitats Corals.

If you are a member of a choral association not listed here, ask them to get in touch with us, so that you too can benefit also from this important privilege through their website.

Music Libraries

Musica International offers a professional subscription to libraries. It allows full privileged access to all the data of the musicanet.org website, includes automatic user recognition of the library's computers, and more. Several universities have even chosen to offer this automatic full privileged access from all campus IPs of the University.

Moreover, the management of your library's choral holdings is possible by owning a private field inside the Musica database for managing your scores. No need to create your own database, and you have the comprehensive data of Musica at your fingertips, too!

Phasing out the Musica DVD-ROM

Habits change fast. Since the Musica DVD-ROM has been facing too strong competition from our own website, www.musicanet.org, we have decided to stop its production.

The website is constantly updated and now has many new features that go above and beyond what we could offer on the DVD-ROM.

In particular, if you donate, we will thank you by setting up your very own full privileged access.

Musicanet.org website update

To better handle different languages, we have rewritten large portions of the source code for the musicanet.org website. When we launched the new code in early August, a number of bugs appeared, for which we want to sincerely apologize. They have now been resolved, but if, on your next visit, you stumble upon a broken link, please let us know immediately by emailing webmaster@musicanet.org
