En la alta roca la violeta azul,
Entre nubes la gota de rocio,

Murio la perla en imperial corona,

Born a pearl in deep shadows of the ocean,
On rocky headland bloomed a violet blue,
High above 'mid clouds there shone a dewdrop,
But in my dreaming, ever I dream of you.

The pearl has perished, set in a crown imperial,
In graceful urns of gold the flowers die,
