Lord, I have believed that thou art Christ the Son of the living God, who art come into this world.

Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord. The Lord is God, and he hath shone upon us. Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, and I will exalt thee.


Why have the Gentiles raged, and the people devised vain things?
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

With thee is the principality in the day of thy strength: in the brightness of the saints.

Give praise, O ye heavens, and rejoice, O earth: because the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy on his poor ones.

Arise, daughter of Sion, give praise in the night, in the beginning of the watches.

May her just one come forth as brightness, and her Saviour be lighted as a lamp.

Bring up sacrifices, and adore ye the Lord in his holy court. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad before the face of the Lord, because he cometh. Alleluia.
