Ich will dich nicht hören,
ich will dich nicht wissen,
verworfene Wollust, ich kenne dich nicht.
Denn die Schlangen,
so mich wollten wiegend fangen,
hab ich schon lange zermalmet, zerrissen.

 

English Translation

I choose not to listen to you,
I choose not to acknowledge you,
degenerate Pleasure—I know you not.
For the serpents
that wanted to catch me in the cradle
I long ago crushed (and) tore to pieces.
