Hail, blessed lady, most holy queen,
Mother of God, O Mary ever a virgin,
chosen by the most holy Father of Heaven,
consecrated by Him
with his much-loved and most holy Son
and with the Paraclete,
you who possessed and still possess
all goodness and richness of grace!
Hail, palace; hail, tabernacle,
hail, house; hail, clothing;
hail, servant;
hail, Mother of God!
And hail to you all, you holy virtues
which through the grace and guidance
of the Holy Ghost are poured
forth into the hearts of the faithful and,
faithless though we are,
make us faithful to God.
All-powerful, most holy, most high
and sovereign God; sovereign goodness,
universal goodness, total goodness;
Thou who alone art good;
may we give to Thee all praise,
all glory, all gratitude,
all honour, all blessing;
may we bring always back
to Thee all that is good. Amen.
Lord, I beseech Thee
that the sweet and burning power
of Thy love may absorb my soul
and separate it from everything
under the heavens,
so that I may die
from love of Thy love,
because Thou didst condescend
to die for love of my love.
O my dearest brethren and my children,
blessed for all eternity, hear me,
hear the voice of your Father.
We have promised great things. We
have been promised still greater things.
Let us preserve the former
and long for the latter.
Pleasure is fleeting: Hell ist eternal.
Suffering is insignificant:
Paradise is everlasting.
Many are called but few are chosen.
All will receive their just deserts. Amen.
