JAN CARNEGHI


She was born in Wilmington, Illinois, in 1951.
She graduated from Joliet West High School in Joliet Illinois, where she was a member of the Acapella Choir, and attended the College of Saint Francis/Lewis College, where she was a member of the Lewis College Chorale directed by Enoch Estep.
She studied piano with Larry Roou and organ with the late Kay McAbee. She has been a church organist since her senior year in high school, and recently celebrated her 25th anniversary as music director at Plymouth Congregational Church in Plainfield, Illinois.
She has written a Christmas cantata and several choral works, published by Hope Publishing Company in Carol Stream, Illinois.
