An unusual and fairly challenging piece inspired by The Poui in Trinidad 96 a fascinating tree which bursts into the most colourful and dazzling blossom just at the start of the rainy season. There are some small solo roles which can be performed from within the choir. First performances in October 2001 in Wareham (Dorset) and Wells Cathedral (Somerset).
