Degree in Economics at the University of the Witwatersrand, then to obtain at first at King's College in Music Tripos. Was chairman of the Composer's Guild of Great britain in 1975. ; Often worked together with Lewis Nkosi. Their work has even been performed and recorded by the King's Singers.
