Data about the life of the work: This song forms part of a much bigger epic cantata, which was first performed in toto in 1996 at the Johannesburg City Hall. It has also beeb recorded by Soweto Songsters and Bonisidumo Choristers for the NATION BUILDING Celebrating 10 Years in Music CD, 1998.
Comment(s): This is possibly one of SOuth Africa's best Zulu choral composition to ever be penned and recorded. The most exciting section towards the end is in 'Ndlamu dance rhythm' which is very infectious!
