His music has been performed all around Europe, as well as in Asia and America. He is represented in the official Swedish hymnbook, and he has also been engaged in numerous projects concerning the development of new Swedish churchmusic. ; His music is performed in both the Swedish National TV and Radio. ; Sixten is now recognized as one of Sweden's best-known composers of church music. His music has recieved acclaim throughout the world in recent years and he is regarded as one of the composers to take over the heritage after Ingvar Lidholm and Sven-David Sandström. ; Sixten works as Cathedral organist in Härnösand in the north of Sweden since 2001. He was educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm where he studied composition for Sven-David Sandström.
